Elphaba

It was cold.

He had expected it would be of course, given the location, but the fact still earned the smallest of grumbles from the Corinthian as he zipped his jacket up high as it could go. The pint-sized nightmare then looked around the area as he tried to find his reason for being there; you don't tell someone like him to not do something and expect him to actually listen. There was just no fun in that! And pissing the little witch off was always fun.

Speaking of....it was a good thing there weren't many green people in the world. It made finding her a fair bit easier.

Elphaba looked out of the window, tired of being hiding. Not just hiding from the other elves or mother nature, but hiding from everything. The witch hunter, the wizard, her old friends, if she ever had them. She was tired of feeling trapped.

A noise was heard beside her and she turned back to see her flying broom, floating at mid air. It looked as nervous as her. It was because the broom was been still for along time too.

Elphaba smirked, revealing her pointy teeth. it was time for a ride. Maybe she will be able to find Jack first and drag him with her, even if he hated flying with the broom.

Frost was tracking though the snow, in shorts, and rolled up sleeves, and did I mention bare feet? Being shorter wasn't all that great, but getting out of the village would do him some good and if his powers decided to go wild, they could out here at the very least. However, the North wind howled that he was not at the very least alone. Keeping alert and on his toes, Frost stared around, as his matted hair blew backwards, and pointy ears twitching...

Realization one of this particular North Pole: the brightness and the colors were almost headache inducing, and the nightmare almost regretted leaving his sunglasses back in the Dreaming. Not that they would have done much good anyway, big as they were now.

Corinthian kept mostly to the outskirts of the village, not feeling keen on drawing the attention of the actual residents. He wasn't there for a fight after all. Merely to prove a point. And with that, he leaned idly against the side of one of the buildings, and he waited. Someone would pick up on his presence at some point, right?

Elphaba couldn't find jack's, but for the moment she didn't care. The cold air again her face was like a breeze of life. She always felt better on the skies than on the ground, and from there she could look over the village and try to find where Jack was.

She stopped on mid air when she caught the glimpse of a blond haired boy leaning on the side of a building. A boy wearing a leather jacked. Elphaba cursed.

Meanwhile... Frost hopped in the snow, quite rabbit like as he followed where his instincts, as his matted hair bounced up and down, leading him back to the cheery village and face palmed seeing the familiar sadly blonde boy there, at this point easily in eye sight as well for anyone around, and shuttered a tad, this was not going to end well he just knew it.

Even here blue hair couldn't have been a common occurrence, could it? With a small smirk the Corinthian straightened, looking as smug as only a twelve-year-old boy can.

"You aren't the one I was looking for," he started, flashing the elf a triple grin. "But I guess you'll have to do."

"No, he isn't." A childish, but feminine voice replied. Elphaba saw them from the sky, and when Nightmare started talking to jack she decided that it was time to make an apparition.

The young witch was over her broom, still flying above the Nightmare's head. She had the sensation that if they were on the floor, he would be taller than her. She didn't like the idea.

Frost's face harden, glaring at the Nightmare; What was he doing here?
"But there's a line up for Santa that way." Frost pointed.

Ear twitching; Jack looked up and saw Elphaba and it all made sense.

Then back to Cori; "I'm not here to amuse you." The elf said coldy.

The grins widened in a very unfriendly way. "Oh, I think you are, blue," he replied flippantly, head tilting to the side in an almost childish way.

The nightmare's ears perked up upon hearing the girlish voice above him, and the Corinthian looked up at the witch, greeting her with little more than an unimpressed wave. "There you are. I was hoping you'd still be around."

"yes, I am. I'm sure that you missed me badly." the green girl said in a cold voice. "That it's between you and me, not him." And if to confirm her statement, Elphaba landed in front of Nightmare and took her broom with her right hand. She was indeed smaller than him. She didn't care and raise up her chin as she talked again. "How you managed to find that place?"

"I don't think I am." Jack replied as bitter as the winds blew outside of the dome.

And with Jack's displeasure and unsettled powers a whirl of power wind and snow mixed in, blew in a circle behind the elf, not even noticing it.

He continued to glare coldy; as if saying, 'Yes, Cori, how did you get here, I'm most interested to know..'

Then back at Elphaba, as if saying, 'I've got a bone to pick as well. Let me help.'

Jack's reply went either unnoticed or ignored as the Corinthian kept his unnatural gaze on Elphaba, and he answered her question with a small shrug. "I believe I've mentioned before my ability to track people, right? There is no place that I can't find."

With a smug nod, he once again leaned back against the side of the building, arms crossing behind his head. He gave the small witch a cheeky grin. "Relax a little, girlie. That's all I came here to prove. I promise."

Elphaba caught Jack's eyes and smirked. The smile was gone when he turned back to face the Corinthian and heard his words.

"If it's not for that, then you just wanted to come here because you wanted to make a point. You did it, so you can go now. " Elphaba crossed her arms over her chest, the broom flying alone in mid air. "But maybe...." She grinned and her shark's teeth was visible. "You was just feeling alone and wanted to play ."

Frost grinned, devoiusly at Cori, yes, play. However, he would prefer away from the village.

His icy eyes, fixed on what the Nightmare would say next.
And with his powers unbalanced made it all the more fun...

Something about those grins was just a little unsettling. He was actually being honest this time. He didn't want to have to hurt anyone. That would only draw attention, and he wasn't sure how much longer Dream could be lenient with such things.

"Sorry," he stated flippantly, already beginning to fade from view. "I never was good at playing nice with other kids."

Elphaba blinked at Corinthian's comment. Did he really apologized? she also noticed that he was vanishing and the wanted to stop him. They still need to know how he managed to do it to the North Pole. If if was because of his powers maybe they were still safe, but if it wasn't only for that reason someone else could find them. Not a good thought.

"No, wait!" The witch yelled, moving along and knocking him to the ground in the process. "You didn't really answered me." Elphaba tried not to pay attention to the fact that she was in top of him now.

Jack himself didn't want Cori to leave; not because that the Nightmare had appeared there, more so of the fact of the score to settle still.

Picking up some some, made a snowball of half snow and half ice and aimed for the back of Cori's head. If anything remained the same it was the fact, Jack did in fact have a good arm.
Where did Cori think he was going anyways?

And dashed after Elphaba in his bare feet. He hoped he hadn't hit her instead..

The Corinthian gave a small "oomph!" upon impact, wincing as he was knocked flat. Dammit! Not good. He quickly began to sit up, ready to retaliate in kind....and instead arched a brow at being practically nose to nose with the girl.

"....witch, I'm flattered that you want me so bad, really. But little girls just don't do it for me. Besides--" Whatever was to come next was cut off when the nightmare suddenly grabbed Elphaba's arm and yanked her down flat on him, a snowball sailing harmlessly over them not a second later. He watched it fly, then turned to glance over at Jack, just barely containing a wicked smirk.

"You know girlie, I think your little fuck buddy over there is getting jealous. This might not be the best time."

Elphaba looked over her shoulder to see Jack, ignoring on purpose the fact that Corinthian took her arm to prevent her from being hit by the snowball.

"He's just playful..." Elphaba murmured, moving away from the nightmare's body and not looking at him.

Frost was none the less, frustrated. More so now.

Stopping about five or so feet away, shoulders stiff, glaring at the Nightmare.
Oh, and remember that wind cunnig behind him? That as well had changed face with the elf still behind him.

"What do you think you're doing to her?!" Practically screaming in a high pitch voice.
His voice echoing on the last part as the wind headed past and though Jack and dircetly towards Cori.

It did surpise Jack that it happened but smirked afterwards, maybe. Just maybe he'd be able to trap the Nightmare in the Northern air current compressed like that and spin him around for awhile.
And watch the wind hit like a bullet.

The smirk widened further at Jack's outburst, but his amusement was short lived. He grunted as the wind suddenly whipped up around him, arms raising to brace himself against it before his image flickered and disappeared.

Not half a beat later he was behind the elf. The nightmare quickly grabbed one of the other boy's arms and twisted it behind him, holding it at an angle that limbs were never intended to bend. The other arm just as quickly pulled Jack into a headlock. "Move," the Corinthian hissed in his ear. "And I'll crack your arm so damn hard the bone'll rip right out the skin. I said I wasn't here for a fight."

Elphaba turned back to the boys, anger clearly on her eyes.

"You two, stop!" It wasn't a plea. "There's no need to fight for now. If you don't..." The windows of the nearest house started to crack. "I will."

Frost was now, nose first in the snow. He hadn't intended on what he did before, it just happened. Apparently, he had gone back to being a rookie. As pain riped though his mind at the twisted arm and if you could see it, a twisted face to match.

He wasn't going to move. He wasn't that dumb. Jack barely heard what Elphaba had said; she acted like he did it on purpose, in a sense he wasn't scared in another sense his childness was kicking in again, blasted body.
And started to become spineless, he just didn't move.

However, this was his world, his terrain and his element.
That time and time again had protected him, at which it would do now and response to what emotions he did have.
For even that thought he was somehow a child again and needed protecting.

Jack wasn't sure what happened next exactly, expect, he heard ice, as in ice was breaking though other ice.
Little did he know that shards where popping up; encasing the elf as best it could. Separating him and the Nightmare expect for a big enough gap for his wrist, so Cori couldn't break his arm or bend it futher rather, so either Cori had to hold the position of both arms or let go.

What will she do? He thought, hoping it wasn't going to blow up the village with it.

And there was more ice. The nightmare grunted, shifting slightly in an attempt to hold his ground, but after a quick glance to Elphaba he shoved the elf away--not at all gently, either--and carefully stepped away from the spikes.

"Keep your boyfriend on a leash, witch," he snapped, two unnaturally harsh voices speaking at once.

Elphaba frowned at the Nightmare, but she didn't say anything. She knew that Jack started it, but Cori's actions didn't helped either.

"And I thought I was problematic as a kid." She murmured under her breath, coming closer Jack's shield, next to Corinthian. She wasn't sure what to do, Jack's magic was elementary, and the results where never good if it was combined with hers own magic. The witch caressed the ice carefully.

"Is he gone?" Came the muffled voice from below, trying to cling to the snow that was inside with the elf.

The nightmare looked between the two with visibly fading interest, and after a few moments he just shook his head and turned away.

"This is beyond pathetic," he muttered, not really intending for anyone else to hear. Then he looked over his shoulder and said a little louder. "I'm out of here, then. I can't fight with children. It feels cheap."

Elphaba frowned at him, her anger growing, her eyes murderous. The windows of the nearest house exploded suddenly, a million of small sharp crystals flying everywhere.
