Elphaba closed the grimmerie, unable to concentrate in it. It was hard to read it when she was calm, but when she was worried and nervous it was nearly impossible. She don't even knew what was she reading, and due to the bad effects that a wrong spell can have, she decided to let it go. She waited for Jack.

He looked up at Elphaba; "She had a sword at my thoart... but I didn't attack her. But yet I wanted too. But it's not as if she was trying to kill me."

Then added; "It's complicated."

"She had a sword at your throat?" Elphaba's voice was dangerous, promising a lot of pain for the person who threatened jack's life. "Who?"

"It doesn't matter who." Frost snarled.

"Yes, it does." Elphaba's voice was calm, "If that person would been Nightmare, you wouldn't doubted on attacking him."

The tense silence held until the witch moved in front of Jack.

"The person matters." She stated. Even if she they where hunting her now, even if she was against her, too, Elphaba doubted that she could hurt Glinda on purpose.

Frost eyed Elphaba from below as he lowered his head and a smart ass grin spread across his face, as if he was saying, exactly it shouldn't matter who that person is... expect kids I have nothing against kids.. Then his face paused in mid thought, Expect the whole hugging thing. Twisting his mouth in worry way as he thought that.

Then spoke, with a rather dry tone;
"Elphaba, it was part of the training. She had no intent on my life..But it's bothersome to consider if I've soften any..."

And there was a long silence that followed.

Elphaba was silent for a moment, comprehension lighting on her dark eyes.

"These months, you been trying to remind in control because of the council and the Christmas coming. Perhaps all this self control is what stopped you. Or maybe you liked that person and you didn't feel like harming her." Elphaba's lips turned into a rare smile. "Or...it wasn't useful for you to kill her."

Frost chuckled darkly, this was true. He was considering highly to sabotage the sleigh, so it would fall apart. Not all right away, little by little so it happened away from the Pole, he hadn't. Yet. And was still fighting that.

After all if he couldn't be Santa. Why should anyone be Santa?

He did have to admit he did like Zelda, then again there where quite a few women Jack liked. However, three in particular had been rather understanding, Nancey, Elphaba and Zelda.
However, he had yet to tell Zelda of his darkness per say, but maybe.. Maybe one day. The whole, 'I hate Christmas' deal she seemed to understand.

Jack smiled back at the witch, showing some teeth.
"One could hope you're right." His tone reminded dry, as he stood up to meet her.

Elphaba put her arms around his neck and smiled. Hope such a simply word, so much bad thing happened because of hope. Sanity may be madness but the maddest of all is to see life as it is and not as it should be.

"You can go out of the North Pole? because I don't think that you visited Oz before...and I know some witch hunter that you would love to freeze if you're on the mood of being wicked, Jack"

Frost, wrapped his arms around her waist, and bite her nose with his teeth, slightly, "I can't. Not till after Christmas you know that..." And paused for a moment, "You don't think I've soften do you?... When are you planning on leaving?"

Elphaba closed her eyes for a moment when Jack bite her. "They will be waiting, don't worry. Now the Wizards thinks that one sure way to bring people together is to give them a really good enemy." A harsh expression come to Elphaba's features. "We can give them two." She ended in a cold voice.

"Not that I noticed." Elphaba shrugged. "I want to see my sister after the new year, just to be sure she's doign fine and Boq is not doing anything stupid." The thought of visiting Glinda crossed her mind, but the green woman dismissed is as fast as it come.

"oh, I am?" Elphaba fake and innocent face, it was quite hard for a green woman like her. She laughed. "They will say that you consort with witches..not a bad thing."

Frost eyerolled and as he did moved his head to the side.

"Course not." Then added, "Sides, I'm use to being the rebel, or helping the outlaw. Ain't the first time and probably won't be the last."

There was a pause, "Do you think people where accepting of the giving of presents during the holiday season when it first started?"

Elphaba was a bit surprised by Jack's movement, but she smiled again. "He was? I don't know his story that much."

"Well, we tired to tell it... But that Big Shot, tells a story as well as a seven year old...." He paused, "In fact.. Lemme see if I still have it..."

Releasing her, and wiggling out of her gasp, the elf slide across the floor, signaling for her to follow and into his bedroom, if there was one thing ice was good it was persevering things, as he rummage though some books on his ice shelf.

"Ah! Here it be." Taking a rather worn and torn medium book sized from the shelf on the spine it was marked, '18th century' in German, and very carefully, flipped though it, and froze at one point, and pulled out a folded page and opened, so Elphaba could gaze at the aged, Wanted Poster.

Elphaba followed Jack, curious about what was he talking, she already saw some of the iced books arround, but she never payed them much attention because she couldn't open them.

When Jack showed her the book, he couldn't really understand the language, but she felt like laughing at the photo.

"Everyone have a past, heh."

Elphaba bit her lip in amusement, trying not to laugh now. At least the conversation cheered up jack too.

"Quite, quite." Frost chuckled for a moment longer before, he started to read what he had written inside those journals and snapped it shut, some icicles coming off the book and sat down on the bed.

"The book if a prove that they do, Jack." What Elphaba didn't say, is that if things changed for good or worse. She come closer to jack. "What was that language? I want to learn it."

Frost clinged to the book still. "It's not proof of that, Elphaba... It's proof of how stupid people can be."
Frost muffled, "Wanted for making toys."

The elf eyerolled, then answered; "German." He turned to look at her. "You just want to learn em all, don't ya?"

"That too. You're telling me about stupid people." Elphaba eyebrows went up and she pointed a finger to herself. "Wanted for being green."

She smiled at Jack's comment. "Knowledge is power, dear."

Frost eyerolled and stuck his tongue out a bit.
"And if only they knew I was real, and that I was the one who made the reindeer fly and why Claus goes down the chimneys, you know he wanted to go though the windows at first? And how he 'sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake'. And ya know something, that doesn't work on me for two reasons. One, because I'm on the Legendary Council.. And two..." There was a bit of whine during the next part; "He's using my magical snowball..." The whining stopped; "Though, it's more like a crystal ball that I made out of snow or rather a snowglobe..."

Began shouting the next part with his finger raised; "IF MOTHER ONLY LET ME BE SEEN IN THIS FORM HERE, THINGS WOULD BE QUITE DIFFERENT!"

He began to imitate her voice; "But no. No, Jack no.
You mustn't be seen by people."

Followed shortly by a scuff.

Then took a deep sigh, which turned his face blueish for a moment, along with his hair from white to grey and back again.

"And you're absolutely right! Knowlegde is power, maybe."
He looked down at the book, I can squeeze in some study time on Christmas Eve. It is after all the longest day of the year."
His mouth curled into a smirk.

Elphaba remain silent during Jack's ranting. it was obvious that he need to take out some stress before to explode.

"I always found the sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake' part disturbing. A good thing that I don't sleep." The witch caressed his arm. "See? you're not getting soft, you're just controlling youruself."

Elphaba looked at the book."What are you thinking?"

"Suppose, you're right." Frost's head stretched outwards.

Elphaba nearly yelped when Jack assaulted, her, but she was getting used as his sudden glomps. She melted against him, a content smile on her face. The woman wrapped one arm around his shoulders and gently began to stroke his spiky hair through her fingers.

Jack wrapped his arms on her back behind her breasts, his legs melted in with hers and his waist up angled up high as his head was bent down for her to thumb his hair as he kissed her on the lips.

She kissed him back, supple, sensually and wet. Her starving mouth was tormenting him in its sweetest cangue. Her hands already having burrowed their way under his suit and his fingers now tracing patterns on his back.

Frost felt her fingers, widdle in onto his back, at that moment his mouth parted from hers, slowly, as he started bitting her over gently and fingering his way under her clothing.

Elphaba moaned and after some minutes she moved her hands to catch Jack's face and kissed him deeply.

"Bed. Now." she murmured in a low voice when they break apart. The second after, she was dragging Jack across the room.
